Refund & Refund Policy

At Local Pitara, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining clear and consistent policies. Please review our return and refund guidelines carefully to understand our procedures and requirements.

General Policy

- We exclusively issue gift cards or store credits; no monetary reimbursements will be provided.
- Orders once placed cannot be canceled under any circumstances.
- Returns or exchanges are only applicable in cases of defective or damaged products, incorrect items, or missing items.
- No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be entertained for change-of-mind requests, size issues, discounted items, sale items, or custom orders.

Conditions for Returns and Refunds

To qualify for a return or refund:

Unboxing Video Proof:
- The video must start from opening the package, showing the name, address sheet, and invoice.
- The video should be continuous, unedited, and without filters.
- Claims without proof will not be entertained.

Reporting Timeline:
- Proof of damage or defect must be emailed to orders@localpitara.com within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- Requests submitted after 24 hours will not be processed under any circumstances.

Eligibility:
Products must be unused, with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Items must be free from scratches, deformities, or any signs of use.
- Returns are subject to quality checks.
- Non-qualifying returns will be rejected and sent back at the customer’s expense.

Exclusions:
- Gift wrapping services are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
- Damage or loss of Zirconia stones is not covered under our return or refund policy.

Refund Process

- Refunds will be issued in the form of a gift card, valid for 30 days.
- Only the product amount will be refunded. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Refunds will not be processed for orders in transit, delays caused by courier services, or if a package is returned due to incorrect/incomplete address details.
- If a prepaid order is rejected at the time of delivery, no refund will be provided.
- Note: If a package is returned due to customer fault (e.g., incorrect/incomplete address), only 50% of the product amount will be refunded within 15-20 days.

Replacement and Substitution Policy

- Replacements are subject to product availability. If unavailable, customers can: Wait for the product to restock.
- Opt for a gift card refund.
- Shipping charges for replacements are non-refundable.

Return Process

Initiate the Return:

- Provide the required proof (unboxing video/photo).

Prepare the Package:
Ensure the product is unused, with all tags and original packaging intact.

Hand Over the Package:
We will arrange for a return pick-up. In cases where pick-up services are unavailable, customers must use a local courier service at their own expense.

Processing the Return:
Returns take 7-10 working days to reach our warehouse. Post quality checks, a gift card will be issued within 24 hours.

Important Notes

- No refunds or exchanges will be initiated if claims are submitted after 24 hours of delivery.
- No refunds will be issued for discounted or sale items.
- Refunds or exchanges will not be processed for orders with size issues, delivery delays, or "change of mind" requests.
- If the customer rejects a prepaid order at delivery, no refund will be issued.
- Lost or misplaced packages due to incorrect addresses are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
